It’s business as usual….

The current pandemic has not stopped our activities. We have moved to online delivery for our teaching and our staff are working remotely to provide continued support to students.

How will teaching take place during lockdown?

We are using our state-of-the-art video conferencing system to deliver lectures and tutorials. We anticipate no interruption to our teaching timetable and all classes will be delivered as scheduled.

Lecturers are providing additional online support where necessary with pre-recorded lectures which can be shared with students in advance of scheduled teaching. Our video conferencing facilities can then be used for more focused question and answer sessions that are better suited to the needs of individual students.

What about the administration team?

Our administration team is also working from home, but is operating as usual. If you need to call us, simply leave a message on the usual number.  Your voicemail will automatically be sent to one of our admin team who will get in touch direct with you. Because of the present situation, we ask for your patience if there is a slight delay in responding to your query. An alternative and quicker way to reach us is by email to  administration@lawinstitute.ac.je . We will email you back or, if requested, arrange a telephone call or a video link for a face-to-face discussion. The choice is yours. We are here to help. Your safety and wellbeing is our priority.

What if I have applied for a place in September 2020?

There is no need to worry. We are already well ahead in our planning for the next academic year. All candidates who have applied prior to the lockdown will now have their interview via video link.

Can I still apply for September entry?

We still have some places on courses starting in September 2020 and will be interviewing early June.  It’s not too late to fill in an application form or to get in touch for more information.  There is still time to apply

In the meantime, why don’t you join us online for one of our live Q&A sessions this month?
