The Institute of Law Endowment Trust Appeal

The Institute of Law Jersey is of enormous value to lawyers and to the wider community. The Institute is a not for profit organisation with the majority of its income coming from student fees, therefore a Trust has been established to raise funds to secure the long term financial stability of the Institute of Law.

This appeal has been launched in order to:

  • Build on the success of the Institute
  • Allow plans for expansion and development and secure its future

The Institute has set itself a target of raising £5 million, to help us achieve this target donations can be made by:

  • Cheque payable to “The Institute of Law Endowment Trust” and delivered to the address on our home page.
  • Bank transfer in GBP to Sort Code: 40-25-34; Account Number: 72609509 (please use donor name as reference).

Leaving a legacy is sometimes a fitting way to make a contribution to a worthy cause and one with which you would like to be associated and remembered. Such a gift can, if you wish, be memorialised and recorded in your memory in a fitting way. If you would like to discuss leaving a legacy to the Institute of Law Endowment Trust, please contact The Chairman, Advocate Anthony Dessain at or telephone 01534 826060.
