Continuing Professional Development Courses

Do you need to update your knowledge of Jersey laws?

This year we are making all Jersey Law Course revision sessions available to qualified Jersey Lawyers who want to contribute hours to their Continuing Professional Development. Each session is worth between 15 and 18 hours of CPD points recognised by the Jersey Law Society.

What is on offer:

You will have the opportunity to join our Jersey Law Course students in class over the week end and learn alongside them (or refresh your knowledge).

Classes are run at the week ends, some starting on the Friday evening.

Following your attendance, you will be delivered a CPD certificate showing the number of hours you have attended

The Cost:

The price per module is £1350.00

Jersey Law Course modules CPD form

Select the module(s) you would like to study as CPD . The sessions take place over 2 weekends, each week end has a minimum of 9 hours teaching. CPD certificates will show 18 hours of CPD points. Moules running between October 2019 and May 2020 are: Jersey Legal System, Trust, Criminal and Civil Procedures & Ethics, Testate & Intestate succession

By submitting this form, you understand that you are entering a legally binding agreement. An invoice will be sent to you and needs to be settled at least two weeks before the start date of the course. Refunds: The Institute of Law shall grant a refund of the full fee within seven days after the date of the receipt of a written request from the applicant, provided this request is received within fourteen days of the course payment date (“the refund period”) For the avoidance of doubt, the refund period shall commence on the day immediately after the payment due date. Any refund requests received by the Institute of Law after the expiration of the refund period shall be treated as invalid.

The information you provide will be processed for the purpose of administration, careers guidance and statistical analysis. To ensure confidentiality and privacy, all processing will be carried out under the requirement of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
