The Institute of Law celebrates alumna’s success

Congratulations to Rasha El Hassan! Rasha has been admitted to study on the prestigious French Master’s Programme, the Master in Business Law from Paris Dauphine University.

This year, the programme opened a legal research branch and selected 16 students to work as legal researchers. This select group of students will undertake LLM studies and receive a formal training in legal research. Finally, under the supervision of a personal tutor, the students will have a year to produce a thesis on their chosen subject.

What attracted Rasha to the programme is the fact that lecturers of the Ecole Nationale Superieure (ENS) are leading and delivering several of the modules.

Rasha started studying Law on the Institute of Law Double degree programme in 2017. She spent her first two years of studies in Jersey. As part of the programme, she obtained a Certificate in Higher Education in Common Law from the University of London in 2018.

Rasha left the Institute of law in 2019 to finalise her  License en droit and LLB studies at the University of Toulouse Capitole 1 in France. She is has now received her “license en droit” and is eagerly awaiting the results of her final LLB module.

Sharing the news of her success, Rasha warmly thanked her lecturers and tutors at the Institute who supported her in achieving admission on the LLM programme and said that she has fond memories of her time studying in Jersey.
