The Institute of Law are delighted to announce the return of our free lunchtime talks, Law Made Simple.
These will take place from Monday 8 to Friday 12 September, 12.15pm – 1.15pm at the Public Library, St Helier.
The talks will cover a different legal area each day and are free to attend.
The lectures will be delivered by Jersey lawyers and the subjects covered will be as follows:
- Monday 8 September – Family Law: Divorce, Separation and Children
- Tuesday 9 September – Wills, Succession and Probate
- Wednesday 10 September – Owning and Renting Property
- Thursday 11 September – Small Claims and Tribunals, including the Petty Debts Court and Employment & Discrimination Tribunal
- Friday 12 September – Legal Aid and Acting as a Litigant in Person
