William Burns

William has an Undergraduate degree University of Montana in accounting and economics.  The University of Montana Law School, Doctor of Law; he was admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Montana and all Federal Courts;   Work experience: Defence attorney, general law practice including oil and gas law, specialising in plaintiff’s trial work in United States Federal District Courts primarily suing the United States government for wrongful acts of their agents; worked as  prosecutor for the State of Montana, Missoula County. Later served as trial court judge Glacier County Montana for 26 years. Following retirement from the bench has 20 years experience teaching at undergraduate and Master’s levels at Concordia International University Law School, Tallinn Technical University Law School, Tallinn University Law School, University of Essex law school as a visiting lecturer, University of Montana Law School as visiting lecturer . Elected as associate professor of law Concordia International University.  Selected to multiple judiciary advisory committees to legislature and Judicial Associations.  Selected as outstanding lecturer at Concordia University, Tallinn Technical University Law School,  Tallinn Technical University.

 

Matti Kauppi

Matti Kauppi LL.B., LL.M. (Helsinki and Amsterdam) and LL.lic. (Helsinki) is a practising attorney and a member of the Finnish Bar association. He is also trained at the bench at the Helsinki City Court. Matti advises both private individuals and companies. Academically Matti has taught mainly European Union law at the University of Helsinki, Audentes University, Tallinn Technical University and Tallinn University. He is also a regular writer in the Smit & Herzog commentary on the European Union law (LexisNexis). Matti speaks English, Swedish, French and some Portuguese.
