The Institute of Law is home to the Law Library which was previously housed in the Royal Court Building. The Library holds books from the collections of the Jersey Law Society and the Royal Court.
As well as being used by Institute students, the Law Library is open to members of the Jersey Law Society, who are asked to contact the Librarian or Assistant Librarian to arrange a convenient time to consult the collection. It is also open to Jersey-resident law students studying abroad, who would like to consult to do some research while back in the Island. They, too, should contact the staff to arrange a time for a visit and to ensure the material they require is available.
The Library is open to commercial users who would like to undertake research and the terms and conditions for such use are available here.
If anyone would like to donate any books to the Library, a copy of our terms and conditions, and the donation form, is available here.
For further information, please contact the Library.
